Sailing around the Apple island

No, not the Cupertino one! This Apple (Jabuka) is an island in the Adriatic sea, an isolated volcanic rock protruding 97 meters from the sea 30 NM West from the island Vis.

There is a large number of seaguls nesting on the rock and they get nervous when you approach. And rumor has it (form a fisherman on a Molat island) that there are rats on that rock. Well …
We came and went with nice southerly winds maxing the Salona 40 boat to 11.2 knots. 8-9 knots was average on a substantial part of the way.
